Mishimoto’s oil catch can system has been designed and engineered to work on your 08+ STI to eliminate harmful blow by vapors from re-entering your engine. Harmful blow by gases can occur during normal, and spirited driving conditions. Blow-by can increase in these engines as more boost and horsepower are increased. In more serious cases, blow-by can work its way into your intake system, reducing the octane rating of your fuel and potentially causing detonation.
This is a direct fit for the 2008-2014 Subaru STI. It separates oil particles using a 50 micron bronze filter. Included are application-specific brackets that house both catch cans in a serviceable location. Those catch cans are fully sealed, billet 6061 aluminum units. Will help in protecting the turbocharged boxer engine from blow-by. No cutting or modification required when installing this system, and it will fit both LHD and RHD models.-
