This is a high-gradelightweight titaniumsystem, with an option of round orhexagonalcarbon-fibre and titaniumtailpipes(the choice of one is mandatory). Complex parts, such as theX-connectionand specially designed collectors, are cast at the in-house titanium foundry. The exhaust system has no exhaust valves, and the main exhaust tubes have an increased diameter. A special control kit operates the exhaust valves. Alongside acoustic reflectors on the tailpipes, a special resonator, and the X-connection, which allows gases from both sides of the engine to mix, these elements create a refined Akrapovi sound experience in all drive modes, delivering a deep andsporty tone.An additional damping element is added to the link pipe, which enhances the sound quality and comfort of the Akrapovi exhaust, while offering a unique sound experience. Power gains of8.5 kW (11.5 hp)at 6,150 rpm and torque increases of15.6 Nmat 2,550 rpm have been recorded when tested on the Akrapovi dyno against a BMW M5 with a standard stock exhaust. This exhaust system is41.1% (15.44 kg)lighter than the standard stock version.

It has been developed for cars without gasoline particulate filters. The installation is a simple plug-and-play operation, with no remapping needed.
