Description
The Kartboy Short Shifter and Bushing Combo will restore the shifter feeling in your car due to mileage, or age. After a while the factory shifter bushings are known to become weak, creating excess shifter slop in both, side to side movement, and forward and backward movement.
The Kartboy bushings are made out of durable polyurethane that will surely tighten things up a bit. The short throw shifter itself will decrease the shifter throw by as much as 40%.
Please note for you WRX owners, make sure this is the correct shifter for you. This will fit in the 2002-2007 Subaru WRX with the factory shifter assembly only. If your car has the upgraded SPT/STI short shifter package you will need to purchase the 2.5RS combo. The easiest way to tell this is by pulling down your factory shift boot, and looking at the color of the lever. If it is a gold zinc plated lever, then you have the STI option installed. If it is a dark gray, then it is the stock assembly.
